Jens Pöhland is the Chief Risk and Financial Officer and executive board member at Mizuho Bank Europe N.V.
He has been with Mizuho for about 12 years of which 10 in his current role. Before he worked with various organizations as Legal council for among others NYSE Euronext and The Bond Market Association and as a General Affairs and International Trade Lawyer for Corus and started his career at the Dutch Central Bank.
Next to his job he is the co-chair and board member of the Foreign Bankers’ Association in the Netherlands.
Jens holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Essex in English and European Law and a LLM from the Radboud University Nijmegen. Also he has been for 2 years with the Norwegian Army.
Jens is 50 years old, lives with his partner and daughter in Bloemendaal.
